How the site is funded

RevieWatches is free to read. It is paid for mainly by display ads served by Google AdSense. We do not pick which ads appear next to a specific article.

Affiliate links

Some articles may contain affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, the retailer may pay us a commission. The price you pay is the same. At the moment, most of our links carry no commission at all.

When an article contains affiliate links, it says so near the top of the article. Affiliate links are also marked in the page code with rel="sponsored", as search engines ask.

What affiliate income never changes

• Rankings and conclusions. A watch with no affiliate programme can, and often does, rank above one that has one.
• Which watches we cover. We write about watches our readers are interested in, not about the ones that pay the most.
• What we say about a product's weaknesses.

Gifts, samples and sponsorship

We do not accept payment for articles or placements. If a brand lends or gives us a watch, the article will state it clearly.
