Marine Conservation Society × Spinnaker Watches Review
Spinnaker's MCS collaboration creates ocean-inspired dive watches that contribute proceeds to marine conservation.
📑 Table of Contents
The Marine Conservation Society × Spinnaker collaboration is a rare example of a watch brand genuinely backing a cause it espouses. Each watch in the collection donates a portion of proceeds to the MCS's ocean conservation work.
The Collection
Three models, Orca, Dolphin, and Turtle, each celebrating a different marine species. The dials feature beautiful gradient colorways inspired by ocean depths, with subtle species artwork on the case back.
Specifications
All three models share a Japanese quartz movement, 100-meter water resistance, and a starting price of £95. The quality-to-price ratio is excellent.
Design
The dive watch aesthetic is cleanly executed, unidirectional rotating bezel, luminous indices, and a comfortable rubber or mesh strap. These wear far more expensively than their price suggests.
Verdict
The MCS × Spinnaker collection is a win on every level, beautiful design, genuine charitable contribution, and strong value. A watch you can feel good about wearing.
